Westden co-ordinator, Maxim Laithwaite, spent the summer walking 630 miles to raise awareness for local and global water issues. He walked the entire length of the South West Coast Path, from Minehead in Somerset, to Poole in Dorset.
During his journey, Maxim travelled without money in order to raise awareness for those without. He relied completely on the kindness of strangers for everything from food to a place to sleep.
Maxim raised nearly £3000 for Wate
rAid and will be doing some talks about the experience and the kindness of strangers in 2010.
