Westden is currently developing a large project called the Community Landscape Network (CLaN) which aims to build 13 new partnerships between communities and their schools in order to create 13 landscapes that are used for:
1. Promoting social and community cohesion.
2. New forms of vocational and practical education for all ages.
3. Sustainability literacy.
The projects rely on volunteers to get involved so if you are interested in helping with intergenerational activities, gardening, maintainance, events, festivals, growing food etc, then please get in contact.
We also require volunteers for fundraising, administration and office work.
