A charity since 1994, Westden works closely with the community to help improve the quality of life and protect the environment of West Devon and beyond. Sustainability means improving our quality of life while protecting and enhancing our environment for the future. We work with a multitude of partners to create community-led, sustainable projects with low carbon footprints but with wide-reaching inclusion.

I have a 50 acre farm in North Devon (Torridge) and for the past 12 months have allocated aboout 5 acres to local people to grow fruit and vegetables and rear pigs and chickens. The produce is shared. I have received planning permission for polytunnels to be erected and have funded all this myself. However, the group wishes to develop and are considering the installation of a cold room to store meat that is produced on the farm and enquire whether you are able to offer any support financially or otherwise?
I look forward to your reply.
Thank you
